Text block

The Text block in J‑Graph allows you to configure the text that:

  • The bot writes — sends as a message in a text channel.
  • The bot says — synthesizes in the phone channel.

Text messages​

On the Bot writes tab, you can format bot text replies using HTML markup. It is supported only by the chat widget, Chat API, and Telegram. In other channels, the user will receive a message without any formatting.

Speech synthesis​

On the Bot says tab, you can configure the way phrases sound using speech synthesis markup.

In the phone channel, the markup syntax depends on the TTS provider selected in the published phone channel. If no provider is selected, the default provider is used for synthesis.

In the Speech synthesis markup window, you can familiarize yourself with the available tags for markup and copy an example to the Bot says tab. You can test how the phrase sounds by selecting Listen on the tab with a phrase.

If you have set up your own TTS connection, testing will be charged according to the provider’s conditions.
